# Turnbuckle Assemblies

The illustration above shows the correct method for measuring the length of a Turnbuckle Rod.

The same system applies to all Turnbuckle Assemblies and Clevis Rod Assemblies. It is measured from the center of the [Clevis Pin](https://www.thesteelsupplyco.com/clevis-pins) to the center of the opposite Clevis Pin. It will appear on drawings as;

**COP/COP**  
(Center of Pin to Center of Pin)
